- Confirm porta john is accessible and in a safe location
- Add fresh water and chemical solution from tank
- Vacuum all waste from tank
- Sanitize and wash wells, seats, urinal, and floor
- Replace fragrant deodorant disk
- Complete or schedule needed repairs
- Replenish supplies
- Remove any trash
- Towel dry
